Record Attendance at Roadtec’s Winter Training
Roadtec recently wrapped up a number of successful training sessions.
Roadtec recently wrapped up a number of successful training sessions. The state-of-the-art training facility was at capacity for all sessions. More than 700 industry professionals attended Professional Pavers Workshops (PPW), Technical Service Schools and individual training events.
PPW is the asphalt industry’s most comprehensive paving training. Roadtec and Roadtec partners led training in all aspects of asphalt paving. Roadtec hosted four separate PPW sessions throughout January.
Each Technical Service School focuses on a specific type of machinery: pavers, mills, stabilizers, or the industry leaving Shuttle Buggy ® Material Transfer Vehicle. In January and February Roadtec hosted seven schools.
Roadtec also hosts individualized schools at a customer’s location or in Chattanooga. Roadtec hosted state agencies in March. The most recent on the road event was at Tracey Road Equipment in Syracuse, New York. Even though a “super storm” was travelling through the area, 150 attendees braved the weather and attended the event at the state fair grounds.
Richard Kramer and Charlie Butler led sessions on screeds, base preparation, and proper shuttle buggy operation. When the weather prevented other presenters from making it to the event, Richard and Charlie stepped in and provided additional instruction on milling and MTVs!
If you have a specific training request, just let us know by calling Charlie Butler at 800-272-7100.
